【Welfare】“Immanuel Orchestra” held a charity concert

On May 4, 2026, the “Immanuel Orchestra” held a charity concert at Christ Church Bangkok.

The orchestra is primarily composed of teenagers who were born and raised in the slum communities of Thailand,
and it continues to operate there.

In 2000, a Norwegian female missionary stationed at Immanuel Church in Khlong Toei began teaching violin to local children who were playing in the streets. This initiative soon developed into a music school, and in 2015, the Immanuel Orchestra was established, consisting of students and graduates. Now with 70–80 members, the music school and orchestra continue to provide free music education, supporting the independence and future aspirations
of children living in the slums.
They also gave a performance in Japan in October 2025.
